What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They help a site work, remember your actions during a visit, and understand how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, do a similar job.
What we use
1. Strictly necessary
Pages with a form (for example the fare-check form and the contact form) set a session cookie, usually called PHPSESSID. It protects the form against spam and forged submissions and lets us show you error messages. It usually expires when you close your browser. The site cannot run these forms safely without it.
2. Measurement and analytics
We use Google Tag Manager to load website measurement tools. These tools may set cookies or use similar technologies to count visits and see which pages are used, for example page views, device and browser type, and approximate location. Your use of these tools is governed by the providers’ own policies.
3. Browser storage on your device
The Flight Booking Checklist page saves which items you have ticked in your browser’s local storage, so your ticks are still there when you come back. This information stays on your device. We do not receive it.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies come from third-party services we use, such as Google. These companies have their own privacy and cookie policies, and we suggest you read them.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie, our forms may not work, and you can still call us. Here are the guides for the most popular browsers:
More information
See our Privacy Policy to learn how we use personal information. We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, and we will post changes on this page.
